Grupo Aeromexico Reports 10.5 Percent Passenger Increase for October 2013

MEXICO CITY, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest airline in Mexico, reports its operating statistics for October 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico’s total number of passengers transported in the month of October increased by 10.5% year-on-year, reaching a total of one million 382 passengers. The number of passengers transported within the domestic market increased 7.8%, while the number of passengers transported within the international market increased 18.1%. Demand in October 2013 increased 11.6% year-on-year; the most significant monthly increase reported since September 2011. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 10.7% year-on-year. The October load factor was therefore 76.3%; a 0.7 percent increase, year-on-year.

Aeromexico has reached 89.2% on-time departure, year to date; a 10.5 percentage point year-on-year improvement.
