Grupo Aeromexico Reports 10.6 Percent Increase in Passengers for September 2013

MEXICO CITY, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for September 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico’s total number of passengers transported during September 2013 increased by 10.6% year-on-year, the highest monthly growth rate of the year, reaching a total of one million 258 thousand passengers. Demand in September increased 8.7% year-on-year; a record high growth rate for a month since February 2012. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 4.6% year-on-year. The September load factor was therefore 75.1%; a 2.9 percentage point increase, year-on-year.

Year to date, Aeromexico achieved an 11.2 percentage point improvement year-on-year in on-time departure, reaching 89.5%.
