Grupo Aeromexico Reports 3.4 Percent Increase In Demand for June 2013

MEXICO CITY, July 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for June 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico’s demand in June, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 3.4% year-on-year. The total number of passengers transported during June 2013 reached 1 million 255 thousand; a 1.3% year-on-year increase. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 0.4% year-on-year. The load factor for June was therefore 79.0%; a 2.2 percentage point increase, year-on-year.

Year to date, Aeromexico has reached 91.5% on-time departure performance; a 10.8 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
