Grupo Aeromexico Reports 3.8 Percent Increase in Passenger Numbers for January-November Period

MEXICO CITY, Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest intercontinental airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for November, 2012.

Grupo Aeromexico transported 13 million 530 thousand passengers in the first eleven months of 2012, which represents a 3.8% year-on-year increase driven by a 5.5% increase in international passenger traffic and a 3.1% increase in domestic passenger traffic. In November 2012, Grupo Aeromexico transported one million 242 thousand passengers, which represents 0.6% year-on-year growth for the month of November. Domestic passenger traffic grew 0.4% while international passenger traffic increased 1.2% in November.

The Company’s demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 4.1% and capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 6.3% in the first eleven months of the year. Therefore, the load factor for that period was 76.7%. In November, Grupo Aeromexico’s RPKs increased 2.6% and ASKs grew 4.8%, year-on-year. The load factor for the month was 76.1%.
