Grupo Aeromexico Reports 3.9 Percent Increase in Demand for July 2013

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for July 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico’s demand in July 2013 increased 3.9% year-on-year; the most significant monthly growth rate reported thus far this year. The total number of passengers transported increased by 3.2% year-on-year, reaching one million 475 thousand passengers during July 2013 which is also the most passengers transported in a month in Aeromexico’s history. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 0.4% year-on-year. The June load factor was therefore 86.2%; a 2.8 percentage point increase, year-on-year.

Year to date, Aeromexico has reached 90.5% on-time departure performance; an 11.8 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
