Grupo Aeromexico Reports an Increase in Demand in February 2013

MEXICO CITY, March 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest intercontinental airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for February, 2013.

Demand in February, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 0.9% year-on-year. However, it is important to note that the month of February had an extra day in 2012, which negatively impacted growth rate calculation for that period. For comparison purposes, February 2013 growth was 4.5% year-on-year when adjusting for this effect in 2012.

The Company´s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 7.1% year on year. February’s load factor was therefore 71.3%.
