Grupo Aeromexico Reports April 2013 Operating Statistics

MEXICO CITY, May 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico, S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline of Mexico, reports operating statistics for April, 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico transported 1 million 161 thousand passengers in April, which represents a 0.4% year-on-year increase. International passengers increased by 0.6% and domestic passengers increased by 0.4%.

Demand in April, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), decreased 0.9%, year-on-year. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 4.2% year-on-year. The load factor for April was therefore 73.2%.

During the first four months of 2013, demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 0.7% year-on-year. The Company’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 5.6% year-on-year. Load factor during the first four months of 2013 was therefore 73.4%.

Year to date, Aeromexico’s on-time departure performance reached 90.8%; a 10.7 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
