Grupo Aeromexico Reports May 2013 Operating Statistics

MEXICO CITY, June 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for May 2013.

Grupo Aeromexico’s demand in May, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 1.4% year-on-year. The total number of passengers transported during May 2013 reached 1 million 225 thousand, similar to previous year. Aeromexico’s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 2.2% year-on-year. The load factor for May was therefore 75.5%.

During the first five months of 2013, demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 0.9% year-on-year. The Company´s capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 4.9% year-on-year. Load factor during the first five months of 2013 was therefore 73.9%.

Year to date, Aeromexico has reached 91.4% on-time departure performance; a 10.5 percentage point improvement, year-on-year.
