HAITEC Welcomes Iraqi Airways as New Customer

Hahn Airport, 30th of January 2015. In mid-January, HAITEC Aircraft Maintenance welcomed the first Boeing 767 of its new customer Iraqi Airways, the national carrier of Iraq, to the hangar at Hahn Airport for a C-Check. “We are delighted that Iraqi Airways selected HAITEC as its MRO partner“, says Frank Rott, CEO of HAITEC. “Further checks for the B767 and B747 fleet of Iraqi Airways will be scheduled within the next months and we hope to establish a long-term relationship with our new partner.“

HAITEC’s business strategy, which combines high quality “Made in Germany” with a well-balanced value for money concept corresponds well with the requirements of its new customer. In addition, HAITEC offers essential benefits to airlines such as Iraqi Airways as the maintenance company holds approvals for various relevant aircraft types.

“Especially airlines operating B767 and B747 aircraft are currently highly interested in HAITEC’s services but we are also focused on attracting more customers operating B777 aircraft as we obtained that approval in December 2013. Through extensive expansion activities increasing our capacities and capabilities, we continue to strengthen HAITEC’s position in the independent global MRO market and gain share in our key markets,” comments Rott.

As an EASA Part-145 company, HAITEC holds approvals from Civil Aviation Organizations of Russia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Azerbaijan, Bermuda and the FAA for a broad range of Boeing and Airbus aircraft, as well as Gulfstream business jets.
