HONOLULU – March 3, 2015 – Hawaiian Airlines has announced the promotion of Dylan Cabaldon to the position of managing director- strategic procurement & supply chain management. He previously served as senior director – strategic procurement. In his new role, Cabaldon will continue to oversee strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement operations for Hawaiian Airlines.
“Since joining our team, Dylan has strengthened our procurement activities and improved our bottom line results,” said Ron Anderson-Lehman, Hawaiian Airlines executive vice president and chief administrative officer. “In his decade-long career with Hawaiian Airlines, he has displayed exemplary leadership and we look forward to him leading our procurement team as our business continues to expand.”
Cabaldon has more than 20 years of experience in finance, marketing and international business in the fields of aviation, information technology, healthcare, and retail. He joined Hawaiian Airlines in 2005, where he served as director – IT compliance before being promoted to senior director – Project Management Office (PMO) and process improvement and most recently as senior director – strategic procurement. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, he held various management positions at IBM Global Services, Amdocs Limited, and Silicon Graphics Inc.
Cabaldon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Economy from the University of California at Berkeley, as well as a Master’s of International Business from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. While there, he also received a Certificate in International Business from the Pacific Asian Management Institute at the Shidler College of Business. Through the MBA Exchange program, he attended Keio Business School where he studied Japanese Business and Economics.
