HONG KONG AIRLINES LAUNCHES FUZHOU ROUTE

4 Jul 2012 – Hong Kong Airlines has launched a daily service between Hong Kong and Fuzhou, which will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Situated in the eastern part of Fujian, Fuzhou is a prosperous modern city that serves as the economic, political, cultural and transport centre of the province.

The new allocation of traffic rights will provide Hong Kong and mainland passengers with a wider choice and enhanced convenience, further developing Hong Kong’s position as a leading international traffic hub.

The addition of Fuzhou further extends Hong Kong Airlines network of onward connections, including Shanghai and Tokyo, from the daily all Club Class service launching from London Gatwick on 08 March 2012.

Hong Kong Airlines has a total of 23 aircraft, operating a route network of 28 cities across China, Japan and Southeast Asia. Return fares from London Gatwick cost from £1,900 for Club Classic; and £2,950 for Club Premier, including taxes and charges. Bookings can be made with any ATOL registered travel agent, calling Hong Kong Airlines Reservations on 0844 371 8393, or online at www.hongkongairlines.com.
