Hong Kong Aviation Capital delivers first A320 with Sharklets to Jetstar Japan

Hong Kong Aviation Capital (HKAC) delivered today a new A320, to Jetstar Japan as the second of four A320 aircraft that it will lease to the airline.

It is the first aircraft in Jetstar Japan’s fleet, the first A320 aircraft in Japan as well as the first A320 in HKAC’s fleet equipped with sharklets.

Donal Boylan, CEO of HKAC said: “we are delighted to build on our significant relationship with the Jetstar Group as well as enhance our relationship with Jetstar Japan. Jetstar Japan has brought the low cost carrier (LCC) product in the Japanese market a significant step further, has had an excellent start in the first nine months of operation and is demonstrating the benefits of having strong and experienced shareholders. The sharklets make these aircraft more fuel efficient and we are very pleased to see this contribution to environmental improvement in Japan”.
