Hong Kong Aviation Capital (“HKAC”) delivers its sixth Embraer 195 to Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileira

Hong Kong Aviation Capital yesterday delivered the last of six Embraer 195 AR aircraft in 2014 on long term lease to Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras.

Donal Boylan, HKAC’s CEO, said: ”HKAC is delighted to extend our relationship with Azul with the latest addition of another modern, fuel-efficient and environment friendly Embraer 195. We are pleased to assist Azul continue its growth in the dynamic Brazilian market. We are also particularly proud that Azul have named some of our aircraft after famous characters in Brazilian aviation history, such as Ada Leda Rogato, one of Brazil’s first female pilots in the 1930’s, or Ozires Silva, Embraer’s first President in 1969. This delivery brings the number of Embraer E-Jets in HKAC’s portfolio to twelve, and highlights our commitment to the segment of the market.”
