At IACA’s AGM meeting last week in Brussels, Gunther Hofman, COO of Jetairfly, was elected President of IACA (International Air Carrier Association) for one year and Bram Gräber, CEO of transavia.com, continues as Vice-President of the association for a further year.
Welcoming Mr Hofman’s election, the Director General of IACA, Sylviane Lust, said:
“Gunther has been an active Board member of IACA for many years and we are very pleased that he has agreed to be our President for the coming year. His experience of managing a growing airline will be extremely useful during such a challenging time for aviation.”
IACA President, Gunther Hofman, added:
“I am very honoured to be asked to be President of IACA. The association has a critical role to play defending the interests of its members at a time when regulations such as Passenger Rights, Single European Sky, Flight Time Limitations and the recent changes to the EU ETS scheme are likely to have a significant impact on IACA carriers. I look forward to working with the IACA Secretariat team and the Board of Directors in the coming months.”
