IBA’s JetData now features a new aircraft availability module

London, October 23rd, 2014: IBA is pleased to announce that its online commercial aircraft database, JetData (www.jet-data.com), now features a new aircraft availability module. The data, sourced from IBA’s partnership with myairlease.com, enables JetData’s subscribers to keep abreast of aircraft supply onto the market. myairlease continuously monitors their available asset listings for currency and provides updates to JetData in parallel with their own database updates. Sin Kalavrianos, myairlease.com, commented “I’m excited that our partnership with IBA Group provides the indispensable tool of aircraft availability to all JetData subscribers.”

Availability is a key value determinant to aircraft appraisal. Whether a particular aircraft type is in oversupply or scarce will cause its market value to deviate from its base value downwards or upwards respectively. JetData users can use the new module to source additional capacity for their operations or on behalf of their own industry partners, or to simply monitor any potential market volatility. Utilisation, availability date and contact details are provided, along with IBA’s records for specification and historical events for each aircraft under consideration.

In parallel to this additional feature, JetData has also expanded its team to capture with even greater reactivity each individual aircraft transaction occurring around the clock all over the world. At present, the database encompasses over 28,500 aircraft, with more than 100,000 historical data lines. With JetData, alongside its online valuation system and values book, IBA’s comprehensive data services deliver market intelligence to the aviation industry and support its stakeholders in making better informed decisions.
