MIAMI (February 9, 2011)- The 2nd Pan American Aviation Safety Summit,sponsored by the ICAO Regional Aviation Safety Group – Pan America (RASG-PA) in partnership with the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA), will feature exclusive, high-level discussions and training seminars provided by the region’s aviation safety experts.
The Summit will take place from June 15-17, 2011 at the Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City. Registration for the 2nd Pan American Aviation Safety Summit is open at www.alta.aero/safety/2011.

The 2011 Pan American Aviation Safety Summit includes:
A Safety Conference featuring top-level safety experts from the region’s key aviation organizations and companies. The Summit will not only provide specific strategies to address the top aviation safety risk areas, but will also provide an overview of the region’s safety statistics and current RASG-PA initiatives to enhance flight safety.
Training, panel discussions and seminars focused on mitigation strategies for the top three data-driven risk areas in the region.
Networking opportunities with leaders in the industry.
Attendance by Top level international and regional safety leaders will be in attendance, including representatives from: ICAO, ACI-LAC, ACSA/COCESNA, ALTA, ANAC, CANSO, CASSOS, CAST, FAA, IATA, IFALPA, SNEA, Airbus, Boeing, Volaris, Aeroméxico, among others.
Participation is open to operators (commercial, cargo, and corporate), pilot groups, regulators, airport personnel, ATC representatives, and any other companies or individuals whose goal is a safer aviation industry.
