Icelandair expands service from Toronto

Quincy, MA – This year Icelandair is pleased to offer an expanded Canadian flight schedule from Toronto starting March 30, 2011 through January 9, 2012.  With the increased schedule and four flights a week from Pearson International, Icelandair will give travellers more options to Iceland and beyond.

Earlier this year Iceland was ranked #4 in the 41 places to go in 2011by The New York Times and touted as the #1 travel destination for 2011 by U.S.A Today. Seasonal service from Washington, D.C and additional flights from Seattle were announced in 2010 along with additional morning flights during the summer from the year-round gateways of Boston and New York.

Icelandair has also announced service to a host of new destinations in Europe and their 2011 network will feature the largest schedule in its 73 year history.

In addition to service from Toronto, Icelandair offers non-stop service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, and seasonal service from Washington, D.C., Minneapolis – St. Paul, Orlando Sanford and Halifax. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe.
