Icelandair Group: Traffic Data August 2013

The Company carried over 300 thousand passengers on international flights in
August. The number of passengers was up by 11% as compared to August last
year. The capacity increase totalled 11% between years. The passenger load
factor was 85.6% compared to 84.9% at the same time last year. The number of
passengers on the Trans-Atlantic market increased the most or by 16.4%.
Passengers on this market were 52% of total passengers carried on the Company’s
international flights.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were just under 33
thousand in August, which is 12% decrease from August last year. The capacity
was decreased by 13% compared to August 2012. The load factor was 73.8%,
increasing by 3.5 percentage points from last year. Sold block hours in
charter flights decreased by 10% between years. Cargo transport increased by
12% year-on-year. The number of sold room nights at our Hotels increased by 2%
compared to previous year. The room utilization was 88.2%, compared to 88.1% in
August last year.
