Icelandair Group Traffic Data February 2014

The Company carried 116 thousand passengers on international flights in February. The number of passengers was up by 11% as compared to February last year. The capacity increase in available seat kilometers was 13%. The passenger load factor was 73.3%, the same as in February last year.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were 21 thousand in February, which is 10% decrease from February last year. The capacity was decreased by 6%.. The load factor was 69.4%, decreasing by 1.8 percentage points from last year. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 19% between years. Cargo transport increased by 6% year-on-year. The number of sold room nights at our Hotels was up by 4% from previous year. The room utilization was 72.6%, compared to 70.1% in February last year.
