Icelandair Group: Traffic Data February 2015

The Company carried 143 thousand passengers on international flights in February. The number of passengers was up by 24% as compared to February last year. The capacity increase in February totalled 19% between years. The passenger load factor was 77.7% and increased by 4.5 percentage points compared to February last year, the highest load factor until now in February.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were 20 thousand in February, which is 2% decrease from February last year. The capacity was decreased by 6% compared to February 2014. The load factor was 74.3%, increasing by 4.1 percentage points from last year. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 7% between years. Cargo transport decreased by 0.7% year-on-year. The number of sold room nights at our Hotels was up by 10% from previous year. The room utilization was 79.9%, compared to 72.6% in February last year.
