Icelandair Group: Traffic Data September 2012

Number of passengers on international flights 18% more than in September 2011

The Company carried 198 thousand passengers on international flights in
September. The number of passengers was up by 18% as compared to September
last year. The capacity increase compared to September 2011 was 17%. The
passenger load factor was 81.0 % compared to 78.0% last year. The number of
passengers on the Trans-Atlantic market increased the most.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were slightly over 28
thousand in September, which was a 5% decrease from September last year. The
load factor was 70%, increasing by 4.1 percentage points compared to September
2011. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 5% in September. The
decrease is due to one less aircraft being deployed in charter cargo flights
than last year. Cargo transport increased by 14% as compared to September last
year. The number of available room nights at our hotels was up by 24% from
previous year. The room utilization was 76.5%, 4.1 percentage points lower than
in September 2011.
