Quincy, MA – This year Icelandair’s 2011 summer schedule will feature the largest schedule in its 74 year history including more departures from North America and more destinations in Europe.
On June 2, 2011 flight # 606 departed Halifax International at 10:00 pm launching seasonal service to Keflavik International. Flights from Halifax will continue on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays (staring in July) through October 17, 2011.
Once in Iceland, Icelandair offers non-stop connections to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, The United Kingdom and Continental Europe.
For our Canadian travellers Icelandair also offers 4 non-stop flights per week from Toronto’s Pearson International through October 30, 2011.
In addition to service from Halifax and Toronto, Icelandair offers non-stop service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, and seasonal service from Washington, D.C., Minneapolis – St. Paul and Orlando Sanford. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the U.K. and Continental Europe. Icelandair also allows passengers to stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare.
