Icelandair: Traffic Data February 2013

The Company carried 104 thousand passengers on international flights in February. The number of passengers was up by 12% as compared to February last year. The capacity increase in February totalled 17% between years. The passenger load factor was 73.6% and decreased by 1.4 percentage points compared to February last year.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were 23 thousand in February, which is a 11% decrease from February last year. The capacity was decreased by 15% compared to February 2012. The load factor was 71.2%, increasing by 2.7 percentage points from last year. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 17% between years. Cargo transport decreased by 1% year-on-year. The number of sold room nights at our hotels was up by 21% from previous year. The room utilization was 70.1%, compared to 69.8% in February last year.
