Icelandair Traffic Data March 2013

The Company carried 145 thousand passengers on international flights in March. The number of passengers was up by 22% as compared to March last year. The capacity increase in March totalled 31% between years. The passenger load factor was 79.3% and decreased by 1.7 percentage points compared to March last year.

Passengers on regional flights and Greenland flights were 26 thousand in March, which is 11% decrease from March last year. The capacity was decreased by 10% compared to March 2012. The load factor was 74.3%, increasing by 0.5 percentage points from last year. Sold block hours in charter flights decreased by 9% between years. Cargo transport decreased by 2% year-on-year. The number of sold room nights at our Hotels was up by 29% from previous year. The room utilization was 72.7%, compared to 70.4% in March last year.
