Icelandair welcomes Beth Ann Young Manager of Trade Accounts, The Americas

Quincy, MA – In 2014, Icelandair will operate the largest network in its 77 year history, with more gateways, more destinations and higher frequency to more than 20 destinations in Europe.

To better serve the growing market and the many trade partners in North America, Icelandair has created a new position, Manager of Trade Accounts – The Americas. Specifically geared towards interacting with the outside sales and trade market, The Manager of Trade Accounts will be responsible for managing sales promotional activities focused on the travel trade, communicating with the trade distribution in the market and managing Icelandair’s staff of Regional Sales Executives.

Taking charge of this new role is Beth Ann Young. Prior to joining Icelandair in 2009 as the Regional Sales Executive for the Pacific Northwest, Beth Ann was the Assistant Sales Manager for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) in Seattle. She brings with her a wealth of experience, proven results developing trade sales in her region and establishing Seattle as one of the pillars in Icelandair’s network.

She is commencing her new responsibilities beginning today, Monday, February 3rd, 2014, and going forward will be located in Icelandair’s North American offices located in Quincy, Massachusetts.
