JAL and SriLankan Airlines Launch Codeshare Cooperation

TOKYO November 25, 2014:Japan Airlines (JAL) and SriLankan Airlines (UL), both members of oneworld® alliance, have agreed to implement a codeshare relationship with each other for the first time and will commence codeshare flights from December 2, 2014 on UL-operated flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Colombo, the flights between Colombo and Male, as well as the flights between Bangkok and Colombo. Meanwhile, UL will place its flight indicator on JL-operated flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Seoul (Inchon), Pusan, the flights between Kansai, Chubu and Bangkok, as well as the flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Itami, Chubu in Japan.

JAL will strengthen the partnership with UL and the new codeshare services on UL operated non-stop flights from Tokyo to Colombo will offer the customers more convenience and service benefits.
