EVERGREEN, Colo., Aug. 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Jeff Potter, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Boyd Group International, has been designated as the chief restructuring officer (“CRO”) for Ryan International Airlines, Inc.
Ryan is actually retaining the services of Boyd Group International, a leading aviation consulting firm based in Evergreen, CO. Jeff serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd and will be the lead for the Ryan assignment. He will bring with him the combined expertise of the firm’s seasoned aviation experts. Boyd Group International is at the forefront of aviation planning, forecasting, and market analysis.
Ryan, based in Rockford, Illinois is an airline charter company that flies commercial passengers in addition to flights for the US Department of Defense and the US Marshall service. It operates a diverse fleet of passenger aircraft and has over 450 employees.
Mr. Potter served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of Frontier Holdings, Inc., the parent of Frontier Airlines, where he was responsible for the strategic direction of the company, including the introduction of international service. He also has experience as the senior executive in other travel and leisure entities including Exclusive Resorts LLC, the world’s leading luxury destination club, and Alpine-CMH, the world leader in heli-skiing.
