JetBlue Airways Corporation [NASDAQ: JBLU] reported its preliminary traffic results for April 2011. Traffic in April increased 6.1 percent from April 2010, on a capacity increase of 7.1 percent.
Load factor for April 2011 was 79.7 percent, a decrease of 0.8 points from April 2010. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 99.0 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 68.4 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of April increased 13 percent year over year.
