JetBlue Airways Reports January 2015 Traffic

NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwired) — 02/11/15 — JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for January 2015. Traffic in January increased 14.3 percent from January 2014, on a capacity increase of 15.5 percent.

Load factor for January 2015 was 81.9 percent, a decrease of 0.9 points from January 2014. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 94.9 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 71.9 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of January increased approximately three percent year over year, which includes a positive impact of about two points from winter storm Juno.
