JetBlue Airways Reports June Traffic

NEW YORK, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — JetBlue Airways Corporation [NASDAQ: JBLU] reported its preliminary traffic results for June 2012. Traffic in June increased 9.7 percent from June 2011, on a capacity increase of 4.8 percent.

Load factor for June 2012 was 85.9 percent, an increase of 3.8 points from June 2011. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 98.8 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 77.4 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of June increased six percent year over year.
