JetBlue Airways Reports March Traffic

JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for March 2011. Traffic in March increased 7.1 percent from March 2010, on a capacity increase of 4.2 percent.

Load factor for March 2011 was 83.6 percent, an increase of 2.3 points from March 2010. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 99.6 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 71.3 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for March increased 11 percent year over year.
