JETSCAPE ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF (2) TWO EMBRAER E190AR AIRCRAFT

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, December 23rd 2014. Jetscape Aviation Group, Ltd. (Jetscape) announces the acquisition of two (2) Embraer E190AR aircraft (MSN’s 19000197 & 19000206) from Republic Airways Holdings (Republic).

These 2008 vintage aircraft have been delivered on long-term leases to Aerolitoral, S.A. (d/b/a AeroMéxico Connect), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AeroMéxico. Jetscape’s financing was provided by DVB Bank SE. DVB Asset Management acted as an arranger in the transaction on behalf of Republic.

John Evans, Jetscape’s CEO stated “we are delighted to have helped fulfill the objectives of two Jetscape customers with this transaction – aiding Republic in their phase-out of E190s, while also helping to support the expansion of AeroMéxico Connect’s E190 operations and regional network. AeroMéxico is now among Jetscape’s largest customers – we appreciate our relationships with both of these airlines and their confidence in Jetscape. We also value our long-standing relationship with DVB and their steadfast support of Jetscape.”

With this acquisition, Jetscape now owns five (5) E190 aircraft on lease to AeroMéxico and AeroMéxico Connect.
