Korean Air has established a code share with GOL, Brazil’s second largest airline that flies throughout Brazil, Latin America, Chile and Colombia. The free-flow code share teams Korean Air and GOL to reach Rio de Janeiro, Manaus and Brazil’s capital city, Brasilia. This code share benefits Korean Air travelers because now SKYPASS members can earn miles on those routes. Rio de Janeiro will host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games; Manaus is the gateway to the Amazon and Brasilia is the country’s governmental hub. Korean Air has three flights each week between Sao Paulo and Los Angeles and on to Seoul. The return flight’s routing is Seoul through LAX to Sao Paulo.
