01 March 2013: Direct Maintenance and Korean Air entered into a teaming recently to support a series of charter flights operated into Entebbe International Airport (EBB) in Uganda. For this project Korean Air is deploying B747-400F freighter aircraft alongside B777 passenger aircraft, its first ever operations into Uganda. Direct Maintenance is pleased to assist Korean Air on this occasion. Roger Meels, Technical Director, comments: “We are glad to see another national carrier choosing Direct Maintenance allowing us to provide support through our dedicated staff on site in Entebbe. We are priviliged to assist Korean Air on this occasion, to ensure these important flights are running safe and in a timely manner.”
