Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Limited (JorAMCo) and Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) have expanded their business cooperation in the aviation maintenance sector by renewing the maintenance General Trade Agreement between the two companies.
Under the agreement JorAMCo will provide maintenance servies to eight Airbus aircraft; three A300, three A320 and two A340, five of these checks to be performed this year and three for the next year. The work scope to be accomplished on these aircraft will include heavy aircraft maintenance C checks, The A320 AC have full exterior painting as well as the REG (Repair Evaluation Guideline).
The maintenance work was awarded to JorAMCo through internationally offered tenders, JorAMCo winning those tenders amidst mounting competition from major maintenance provides providers regionally and globally.
KAC had previously chosen JorAMCo as their maintenance partner, JorAMCo demonstrating capabilities as being a dynamic aircraft maintenance center in the region specializing in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer aircraft.
The cooperation between the two companies is a manifestation to the vision of the leadership in the two countries, and stems from the understanding that both public and private organizations in the two countries should engage and cooperate more to create a mutually beneficial business environment.
