Loganair plans to replace its Saab 2000 and 340 planes with 20 ATRs over the next four to five years, as the carrier aims to make its operations more efficient.
The carrier expects the first batch of ATR42s to arrive in 3Q 2019.
The reasoning behind the decision is to reduce costs, noise and spare parts.
