LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services Sp. Z o.o. signed an agreement with BA CityFlyer for technical services of Embraer aircraft type.

On 20 December 2013 the LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services company signed an agreement with the British air carrier BA CityFlyer Ltd. for aircraft technical services.

The agreement was signed for 14 months with the possibility of prolonging and it specifies the works in the scope of: scheduled and unscheduled base C checks, and also lower level checks (A and B), AOG (Aircraft on Ground) technical defect rectification, additional works connected with engine replacement, APU (Auxiliary Power Unit), landing gear, structure repairs, NDT (Nondestructive Testing), activities to determine the aircraft centre of gravity, maintenance of aircraft exterior painting (activities leading to reduction of fuel use and repairing exterior aesthetics). The new contract includes aircraft fleet of Embraer E-Jet (types E170 and E190).

BA CityFlyer Ltd. is a British airline in its seat in Manchester. The Company belongs in 100% to the British national air carrier British Airways. The Carrier mainly operates connections between the London City airport and cities of Western Europe. The flights are conducted as part of British Airways connections.

The activities of LOTAMS company are concentrated on technical services of types of aircrafts of Boeing, ATR, Airbus, Bombardier and Embraer and it is the servicing of the last type of aircrafts that distinguishes LOTAMS on the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) market. In 2012 the Company joined the elite group of authorized service centres of Embraer. The certificate granted by EAI, Embraer Aviation International SAS, is a confirmation of not only high quality of services and short TAT (Turnaround Time), but also the possibility of gaining new business perspectives on the competitive market of regional civil aircraft servicing. The contract with BACF crowns the consistent business policy depending on acquiring clients from West Europe and world.

LOTAMS Company is a provider of services connected with technical services of civil and military aircrafts. The Company realizes services in full scope of base and line maintenance. LOTAMS has certificates granted by Polish and foreign authorities overseeing civil aviation. Apart from aviation certificates the Company can proudly announce that it was awarded with the prize of “Najwyższa Jakość Quality International” in 2013 in the category of QI services – highest quality services. This prize is the confirmation of providing highest quality services in accordance with the company slogan “we look after every detail”.
