LOT: Information Regarding B737 MAX 8

Following decisions of civil aviation authorities, LOT has decided to temporarily suspend operations on Boeing 737 MAX 8s. LOT will continue scheduled operations using different types of aircraft. Currently our operations services are making necessary modifications to the flight network and establishing a short-term leasing agreements to acquire additional aircraft in order to maintain continuity of our operations.

LOT remains in constant contact with the manufacturer as well as the aviation authorities to clarify any doubts regarding Boeing 737 MAX 8. Currently LOT’s B737 MAX fleet consists of 5 airplanes.”
