LOT Polish Airlines temporarily suspend service to Near East

Warsaw – LOT Polish Airlines has announced that due to the political situation in the Near East, the Polish carrier is temporarily suspending connections to Beirut, Damascus, and Cairo. LOT has decided to temporarily suspend connections to Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria due to the unstable social-political situations in the region, and also in consideration of lower levels of passenger interest in flights on those routes. Air traffic has been particularly disrupted at the airport in Cairo, where limitations on air operations during night time hours has made it impossible to carry out flights to the Egyptian capital according to schedule.
