LOT’s new flight connection with Stuttgart

Warsaw, 4 September 2012 – LOT Polish Airlines establish the second (after Hannover) flight connection with Germany this year, which is one of the most important and strategic markets for the Polish air carrier. Since 5 November LOT’s planes will fly to the Stuttgart airport five days a week. Tickets may be bought from today. Stuttgart will be the seventh German direction serviced by LOT’s planes.

Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Wurttemberg and the city where Gottlieb Daimler and Carl Benz invented the automobile in 1886. It is located in the middle of the triangle with angles in Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich, at a distance of ca. 200 km from each of these cities. 

Stuttgart together with its surrounding is a well-developed economic, scientific and research centre. It is the seat of Daimler AG, Hewlett Packard, Alcatel-Lucent, Porsche, Neoplan, Robert Bosch and IBM. Tourists are interested in the Mercedes-Benz Museum, that is the biggest automobile museum in the world. Moreover, one of the biggest group of Poles and people of Polish origin live here.

Embraer 170 planes will fly to Stuttgart 5 days a week, except Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Since November LOT Airlines will service more than 170 flights to German airports a week.
