Lufthansa Group to resume flights from and to Tel Aviv on Saturday, 26 July

On the basis of the most up-to-date information we have available and our own assessment of the local security situation, the airlines of the Lufthansa Group will resume their flights from and to Ben Gurion International Airport. Flight operations will start up in stages from Saturday morning.

It is with relief that we are able to return to scheduled service on the routes to Tel Aviv. For operational reasons, however, this will require a few days. We kindly ask all passengers of Lufthansa, Germanwings, Austrian Airlines, Swiss and Brussels Airlines to check the relevant airline’s website to see if their flight is operating.

We regret the inconvenience experienced by our customers due to the temporary cancellation of our flight operations. However, the safety of our passengers is our highest priority. Lufthansa continuously evaluates the security situation for the entire route network in close coordination with the responsible authorities.
