Lufthansa Systems extends the contract with Qatar Airways for their network planning and scheduling

NetLine/Plan and NetLine/Sched cover all processes for long-, medium- and short-term network planning and flight scheduling. Based on their high level of automation, the solutions help airlines accelerate processes, reduce costs and increase revenues. Airlines can modify their flight plans and schedules to increase the overall capacity utilization of their aircraft. The highly automated SchedConnect solution calculates optimal codeshare connections on a daily basis by processing schedule data from over 150 airlines worldwide.

The two companies also signed a three-year supplemental agreement to NetLine/Plan for calibration and other services customized to meet the specific requirements of Qatar Airways.
