Lufthansa Technik: Base maintenance for AeroLogic Boeing 777 freighter fleet

The German cargo airline AeroLogic has commissioned Lufthansa Technik AG to provide base maintenance services for its fleet of Boeing 777F aircraft. Over the next two years, C-checks on the carrier’s eight 777Fs will be carried out by Lufthansa Technik’s subsidiary Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International (LTMI) in Frankfurt.

The primary focus of these extensive checks – four of which will be carried out in 2015, and four in 2016 – is on maintenance of the aircraft’s structure and all its systems. The first check has been scheduled for March 2015.

“We are very pleased to be awarded the contract for these C-checks,” says Ulrich Hollerbach, who has been Managing Director of Lufthansa Technik Maintenance International GmbH since January.
