Lufthansa Technik to look after Travel Service engines

Travel Service a.s., the biggest private airline in the Czech Republic, and Lufthansa Technik have extended the Total Engine Support TES® contract that has been in place since 2007 to 2020. The airline currently operates 17 aircraft and plans to expand its fleet still further.

Under the TES® contract Lufthansa Technik will maintain the CFM56-7B engines of the Boeing 737-NG fleet over the next 10 years, providing a full range of services for the engines.

“We are satisfied with the services of Lufthansa Technik for many years and therefore we have decided to extend the contract–, said Roman Vik, CEO of Travel Service.

Commenting on the deal, Robert Gaag, Director Sales Central Europe of Lufthansa Technik, said, “We appreciate the trust that Travel Service has placed in LHT by extending the TES® contract for a further ten years. Travel Service and Lufthansa Technik have been working together for many years, ever since the airline commenced flying operations in 1998.
