MAEL secures DHL B757 certificate of airworthiness

Award winning, independent aircraft maintenance provider, Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) has concluded a contract to assist DHL in obtaining a Certificate of Airworthiness for the addition of a B757 [G-CSVS] to their fleet.

MAEL’s highly experienced Management Services team (Part M) provided support with the regulatory approval process for the aircraft transfer to the UK register.

Commenting on the agreement, Keith Earnden, Engineering Director for MAEL said “We currently provide continued airworthiness support for DHL’s B767 freighter fleet and are extremely pleased to be able to add the induction of their latest B757 to our portfolio.”

David Williams, Engineering Director of DHL Air Ltd commented “I would like to thank MAEL for the excellent work carried out recently in support of our project to bring G-CSVS onto the UK register. This has not been a straightforward or easy process, mainly due to the time schedule placed upon us and, without Monarch’s expertise and ability to make things happen, we would have encountered difficulties in meeting our deadlines.”

Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd provides maintenance and technical support to airlines of all sizes, helping them to meet the challenges of today’s demanding and cost-driven marketplace. Employing over 650 staff, the company has two Base Maintenance facilities at London Luton Airport and Manchester Airport, eleven permanent Line Stations based at airports in the UK, Europe and Asia as well as three seasonal Line Stations in Europe and Asia.
