Mahan Air celebrated the launch of scheduled flights from Tehran to Beijing

Beijing, China- Mahan Air celebrated the launch of scheduled flights from Tehran to Beijing non-stop service linking the capitals of Iran and People’s Republic of China and marking the carrier’s 14th international destination. It is also the airline’s Third regular flight to China.

The thrice weekly flights are operating via 292 seats A340-300 in two class configuration offering superb Persian hospitality. Flight W5 079 arrived at Beijing Capital Airport to an impressive water salute, following its 07.30 hour nonstop journey from the airline’s operational hub in Tehran. All passengers and operating crew of the maiden flight received a warm welcome from the airport officials. Beijing now join two other Chinese gateways for Mahan Air after Shanghai and Guangzhou for a total of 13 flights per week. The new Beijing flights represent the significance of China’s growing economy in the worldwide context as well as increased trade between Iran and China. .Beijing is Mahan Air’s third new international route after Yerevan and Shiraz to Dubai which were inaugurated in summer 2014.
