Mahan Air to boost capacity to Europe

In response to ever increasing demand to travel between Iran and Europe, Mahan Air as the largest private carrier in the country will increase flights from its hub in Tehran to both Dusseldorf and Istanbul. “Germany and Turkey are both key markets for Mahan and will be an important focus for us in 2011 as they are economically strong and enjoy tremendous passenger demand from the Middle East. We believe the added flights will attract more leisure and business travelers to travel to Iran and beyond with Mahan Air” said Hossein Hosseini Director of Marketing and Route Development for the airline during a press conference held recently for the occasion. The Tehran to Istanbul frequency will increase from 5 weekly to daily on13 December and the Dusseldorf flights will increase to five weekly from current four as of 31 January 2011.
