Mahan major expansion in the Far East

Mahan Air will commence twice weekly scheduled flights between Shanghai (Pudong Airport) and Tehran effective 02 September 2011. With the opening of this new flight, Mahan expands dependable passenger and cargo services to traders, business people and tourists between Iran and China. Mahan celebrated direct flights from the city of Mashhad to Kuala Lumpur in early July as well as addition of one more weekly frequency from its hub in Tehran to Phuket, Thailand on 22 August 2011.

In another development, Mahan Air will introduce 2 additional weekly flights between Bangkok and Tehran to make the total weekly frequencies on this route to nine effective 6 October this year. This is in response to ever increasing demand to travel between Iran and Thailand. All additional flights to Thailand will be via two class 245 seats Airbus A300-600 equipment.
