Malaysia Airlines appoints new Area Manager In Sarawak

Kuching: Malaysia Airlines has appointed Mohamad Asif Abd Talib as the new Area Manager for Sarawak effective 01 March, 2011.

Asif joined Malaysia Airlines in 1995 as a Management Trainee for Engineering Division. He has worked in various units such as Line Maintenance, Ground Support Equipment, Ground Handling Management and Airport Operation. Prior to his appointment in Kuching, he was assigned to Beijing as a Business Analyst for Malaysia Airlines China/Hong Kong Region between December 2008 to February 2011. Under the Talent Management Programme, his key responsibilities were providing market intelligence and Malaysia Airlines product exposure to the Region.

The skills and experience acquired in the past two years abroad will be the foundation to steer Malaysia Airlines Sarawak in weathering the dynamics of nowadays airline industry.
