MC Aviation Partners (“MCAP”) announced today that it has completed the purchase of one Boeing B777-300ER aircraft from Macquarie Aerospace Limited. The aircraft has been leased to Cathay Pacific Airways (“Cathay Pacific”), and will continue to be leased to the same for the remaining term of 7 years.
Cathay Pacific is a Hong Kong-based airline established in September 1946. As of September 2011, the company has a fleet of 128 widebody aircraft and is committed to take delivery of 95 new aircraft. Cathay Pacific Group currently serves 151 destinations in 40 countries.
